What emerged from beyond the rifts were 「Void Creatures」, monsters that transcended human common sense.

At that moment, Ability Users who had been hiding throughout South Korea revealed themselves.

Through the actions of these ability users with superpowers and special strengths, humanity drove back the Void Creatures and eventually succeeded in closing the large-scale rifts that had occurred at the time.

However, the government decided that the existence of ability users could no longer be left unmanaged.

In 2016, the 「Hero Foundation」 was established to manage ability users and respond to rifts and Void Creatures.
