One day, a crack appeared in the air, followed by a hole.

From that hole, mysterious monsters emerged and attacked people.

These kinds of Gates appeared all over the world. People called those holes Gates. Humans were helplessly slaughtered by the monsters coming out of them.

At that moment Some people developed unknown abilities. People called such individuals Awakened.

Awakened abilities are classified as follows:

F < E < D < C < B < A < S < SC (In order of strength)

F-Rank — Slightly stronger than an average person. E-Rank — Capable of simple combat. D-Rank — Possesses a certain level of combat ability. C-Rank — High-tier Awakened with above-average combat power. B-Rank — Capable of neutralizing common villains single-handedly. A-Rank — Extremely powerful top-tier Awakened. S-Rank — Overwhelming Awakened treated as national-level assets. SC-Rank — Beings that transcend S-Rank, difficult to measure by normal standards.

Gates exist from F-Rank to S-Rank, and the higher the rank, the strength of the monsters inside and the difficulty increase sharply.

F < E < D < C < B < A < S F-Rank — Can be cleared even by novice Awakened. E-Rank — Weak monsters mainly appear. D-Rank — Requires experienced Awakened. C-Rank — Demands significant combat power. B-Rank — High-difficulty Gates where powerful monsters appear. A-Rank — Can only be cleared by teams of top-tier Awakened. S-Rank — Extremely dangerous to the point of being impossible to clear.
