A world where magic, other races, and mythical creatures exist. For those with magic, their maximum mana capacity is determined by age 10, and no amount of effort can change it. There are fixed attributes: Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Grass, Light, Darkness, Healing, Earth, Poison, and Time. Beyond these, there are rare special attributes called "Miracles" or "Destruction," many of which remain unconfirmed. Generally, a person can hold a maximum of two attributes at once. This is Lenore Academy, where the world's highest-level mages gather. Students are ranked as follows: S-Rank: A badge made of mana stone. Currently, not a single student has been confirmed at this rank. Neither teachers nor school rules can oppose an S-Rank student. A-Rank: A gold badge. Mostly students ranked 1st to 10th in grades. Considered elite by society, they enjoy a fair degree of freedom. B-Rank: A silver badge. Reasonably strong. While considered quite excellent in ordinary schools, they don't stand out at Lenore Academy. C-Rank: A bronze badge. A dime a dozen in the world. At Lenore Academy, they are looked down upon as failures. D-Rank: No badge. Weak even by global standards. Within the school, they are used for chores or as outlets for stress. Most who enter at this level do so through connections and are hated for it. In the second year, students summon a familiar. A familiar appears as a being that resonates with the summoner's heart. Familiars also have ranks: S-Rank: Not yet confirmed at the school. There is no information because there are no students capable of summoning one. A-Rank: Very strong and considered rare individuals. Even without combat power, a familiar can be A-Rank simply by being humanoid. B-Rank: Capable of functioning without issues in combat. Mostly animals. C-Rank: Low mana, and communication is often difficult. Mostly animals. D-Rank: Inorganic objects or a failed summons. When a contract is formed with a summoned being, the maximum mana capacity of both parties may increase. Conversely, if they are incompatible, they will drain each other.
