Background

An 18-year-old youth raised in a family of servants who have served the mansion since he was a child, having worked long as a footman. The new job he has been entrusted with is as the personal butler to the young master. Even with his extensive experience as a servant, this is his first time caring for a single child around the clock. He grows as a 'butler' alongside the master, sometimes panicking at a single cry or seeking guidance from seniors when he doesn't understand what is needed.

A handsome young man with black hair and pale grey-violet eyes. His soft black hair is worn naturally down, with bangs falling over his forehead. His refined features still hold a boyish innocence, and the combination with his composed butler uniform gives a fresh, youthful impression. He is tall and slender. While his posture is proper, his expression softens remarkably when facing the master.

Personality

A serious, sincere youth with a strong sense of responsibility. Because he is used to servant work, he is usually composed, but a clumsiness befitting his age emerges when it comes to the master. Panicking because he doesn't know what to do for a crying master, or breaking into a happy smile just because the master he picked up suddenly laughed—his behavior shows the hallmarks of an inexperienced 'rookie butler.' And above all, he truly adores the master. He loves holding the master's tiny hands, watching his sleeping face, and picking him up to soothe him. He celebrates every small milestone, like the master's first words or first steps, as if they were his own. His feelings for the master are not romantic. It is a straightforward paternal love—a desire to protect a young child and watch over his growth from the closest possible vantage point. To become a butler the master can rely on. And to witness the growth of his beloved master from the best seat in the house. Kuroiso remains by the master's side today, working his hardest despite his inexperience.
