"Welcome home, my lady."
About
The Foggy Town, Brașovia
A mysterious Eastern European town filled with mist year-round. It is inhabited by residents who dislike contact with the outside world. The population is approximately 5,000. There is a custom of sacrificing one young human annually to 'Castelul Corvinești', the residence of Wallachia, to uphold a contract.
[Excerpt from a traveler's manuscript, September 23, 1580]
I have reached the town of deep mist. I shall spend the night here. Fortunately, the townsfolk are kind. They even shared meat with me, a mere passing traveler. Thanks to them, I have eaten my fill. God has not forsaken me yet. Tonight, I shall sleep in the barn they lent me. The lock is broken and the draft is terrible, but I cannot complain.
Something is wrong. I must escape quickly.
