Le État Irréel is something akin to France existing in the Red Flood dimension. Also known as Avant-Garde France. They worship a figure named Antonin Artaud and follow the insane ideology of "Accelerationism." Their catchphrases include "Accelerate!", "Hail Excellency Artaud!", and "We are accelerating!" They reject both Communism and Democracy. They harbor immense hatred toward Germany and Socialists. They praise speed, technology, avant-garde art, madness, war, and destruction, while denying history, religion, morality, the state, the family unit, classical art, language, order, and reality. They aim to become "New Humans" who have discarded reason at the end of acceleration. They form the "League of Solar Nations" with Fiume and Ireland. Hail Excellency Artaud! We are accelerating!

At the end of WWI, the Spartacist uprising—which failed in real history—succeeded here, creating the world's first socialist state. Consequently, the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), the starting ruling party, still holds a leadership position in the Second International, which did not collapse in this world. They have formed the military alliance "Rotfront" with socialist nations in Europe (Denmark, People's Republic of Norway, Hungary, Slovakia, Transylvania). They also maintain friendly relations with the Polish-led Intermarium. However, the rest of the world views the German Empire, which fled to East Prussia, as the legitimate Germany. As the international center of socialism, it is a whirlpool of various currents: Orthodox Marxism, Lenin and his radical ideas (exiled from Russia by Vperyodists), Revisionists who value parliamentary democracy, and forces advocating for the fusion of nationalism and socialism. It is one of the few relatively sane nations; depending on the path, Goebbels may take power, but he is surprisingly sane, focusing on the rebirth of the 1848 Spring of Nations and the revival of German culture based on Romanticism. However, depending on political choices, members of the historical Left-Wing Nazis may rise, turning it into a religious state.

In this world, Japan suffered an early defeat in the Russo-Japanese War. Amidst the post-WWI chaos, they expanded their sphere of influence into former French Indochina and South Manchuria, but Emperor Showa was assassinated, and Prince Chichibu Yasuhito ascended the throne. Allying with the Kodoha faction, he pushed the ultranationalist politics that Emperor Showa had feared, but the economy is in shambles. To distract from this, they invaded China (Beiyang Government) but failed. The country plunges into a civil war against Revolutionary Japan, which advocates for socialism. Taking advantage of this, civil wars also break out in Korea and Vietnam, Taiwan gains independence, and the Japanese Empire mostly collapses. If they win the civil war, Emperor Yasuhito and the Kodoha begin a second attempt, aiming to complete the "Eigen Restoration." Alternatively, they might enthrone a more "legitimate" Emperor...

Led by the famous Shumei Okawa. After winning the civil war, the player can follow a Pan-Asianist path with Okawa, an Orthodox Marxist path with Hitoshi Yamakawa, or turn it into a sane social-democratic state with Isoo Abe.

Victorious in the Russo-Japanese War, successful in the Stolypin reforms, and having driven Germany to revolution in WWI, the Empire survived even the Russian Revolution... but the wounds were deep. Nicholas II was assassinated in 1911, and his successor Alexei II, along with Prime Minister Stolypin, died around the end of the Great War. Although they won the resulting revolution and civil war, the Empire was exhausted. Peripheral areas like Poland and Altai seceded, and the remaining territory could not be governed centrally, splitting into nine regional governments (Finland, Baltics, Novorossiya, Southeastern Union, Kazan, Siberia, Turkestan, Zheltorossiya, Far East) in addition to the metropole. Furthermore, the imperial throne remains vacant as no formal successor has been decided. Currently, under Regent Alexander Kolchak, the Empire holds the reins of these regional governments, but it could collapse at any moment if they defect... Incidentally, the historical massacre of the Romanov family during the revolution did not occur, and Nicholas II's daughters are still alive.

Unlike real history, the US did not participate in WWI and bears no war wounds, but its strict non-intervention in domestic and foreign issues resulted in economic collapse from the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. Most paths are democratic, but an Accelerationist path exists. However, this Accelerationism is different from the French or Fiuman versions; it is a Technocracy advocating for rule by engineers and is considered "moderate" for an Accelerationist state. As is standard for alternate history mods, a collapse route is also prepared.

A small state founded by the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. In real history, it was annexed by Italy within a few years, but in this world, it remains as a quarantine zone for Accelerationists and a buffer zone between Yugoslavia and a Red Hungary. It is the birthplace of "Fiumanism" and maintains a cooperative relationship with Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, the father of "Futurism." While weak on its own, it is in the "League of Solar Nations" alliance with France and leads them in a declaration of war against Italy.

One of the victors of WWI. It was dragged down by the British economic collapse, causing its own economy to fail. With corrupt politics and a North-South divide, Italy is caught between the Accelerationist states of France and Fiume, leaving its future uncertain. It is guaranteed to be declared war upon by Fiume and become a snack for the League of Solar Nations, but if the player ensures its survival, it can become a berserker state that pummels all of Europe—under Italo Balbo in the Despotic path or Francesco Saverio Nitti in the Liberal path.
