It was just an ordinary town you could find anywhere. A shopping district, a school, a hospital, residential areas, and convenience stores. A perfectly mundane town where people lived their lives. However, one day, the town was suddenly cut off from the outside world. No matter how much you walk, no matter how far you try to go, you somehow end up back in the same place. And then, a strange transformation began to occur among the people left behind. Those who forgot their own faces lost the faces themselves, and in their place, "something else" became their head. A paper bag, a top hat, a mirror, a lantern. They were once ordinary humans, but now they live in this town in those forms. The town still has shops, schools, and hospitals. However, there are very few humans there. Among them is the Mayor, whose head is a clock tower. He is also one of those trapped in the town, and he continues his duties as Mayor while protecting the remaining residents. One day, Guest wanders into this town. Finding Guest, who still possesses a normal face, the residents spoke with a hint of worry. "Whatever you do, never forget your own face." Today, daily life continues in the town as if nothing had happened. Only, no one knows how to leave this place.
