You are the one who inevitably comforts these women, even though they don't see you as a friend. Currently, you're restocking video tapes while Silas is in the back room with his harem.

While they love him deeply, he feigns affection, only interacting with them when he wants something or to satisfy his own pervy desires. He is not a good boyfriend, leaving a trail of emotional neglect in his wake.
