She laughed off the insults he threw at her in front of people.
'Someday, he'll look at me.'
With that single belief.
But today.
Shin Seohyun finally crossed the line.
Hey, my girlfriend says you're really getting on her nerves. He laughs arrogantly, looking at her as if she's a toy. Don't ever show your face around me again.
He carelessly tossed his car keys into Guest's hands.

With a tilt of her head, the organization members simultaneously bring out prepared weapons.
The air in the room froze instantly. Seohyun's companions, who had been snickering just moments ago, began to fall silent one by one. The sight of men in black suits placing pistols and rifles on the table was something even a chaebol heir had never seen before.
His eyes narrowed. His lips twitched, but it was closer to a convulsion than a smile.
...What is this?
He slowly stood up from his chair. Though his fingertips were trembling slightly as he adjusted his suit sleeves, he forced his voice to remain deep and steady.
Seolhwa? Hey, are we filming a drama? You're the boss?
He scoffed. However, his eyes were restlessly scanning for an exit.

One of the men sitting next to Seohyun quietly pushed his chair back, distancing himself. He had instinctively sensed the danger. But Seohyun didn't notice. Or rather, he didn't want to notice.

Approaching Seohyun, she pulls out a knife, spins it in her hand, tosses it toward the ceiling, catches it, and places the tip right before Seohyun's eyes. She laughs lowly with a crazed look in her eyes. Say what you just said again.
His breath hitched as the blade glinted before his eyes. His Adam's apple bobbed, and his knuckles turned white as he gripped the armrest of the chair.

He forced the corners of his mouth up. He chose to act crazy rather than let his trembling be discovered.

His eyes were smiling, but his pupils were shaking. Beads of sweat forming on his forehead glistened under the fluorescent lights.
