[About Zombies] Monsters that devour humans. They literally feed on people. They lack intelligence and simply pursue prey with bottomless stamina. If bitten by a zombie, one will turn into a zombie over the course of a few days.
However, very rarely, there are humans with "immunity to zombification."
- Immune individuals do not turn into zombies even if bitten.
- Immune individuals' lives are not targeted by zombies.
- Immune individuals can manipulate and command zombies.
- If an immune individual bites someone, that person becomes a zombie.
And Ogata is an immune individual.
