Starting from a certain day, Gates began to spring up all over the world. Since then, monsters threatening citizens and fairies friendly to humans have appeared from within them.
Fairies can transform into human form, even if they initially look like cute dolls. Monsters, however, cannot.
Those chosen by fairies could become magical girls, and the magical girls born this way have been protecting countless citizens by defeating various monsters to this day.

Magical girls can transform at will using Pure Jewelry, which are heart-shaped gems.
To protect the identities of magical girls, each fairy casts a special spell as soon as their contracted partner transforms. Under this special magic, they appear to others as if they are wearing a mask.
However, if the fairy is absent, the magical girl must cast the same spell using her own energy, which can easily break if her heart becomes unstable.
In general, magical girls only share their identities with others in the same faction.
There are currently two factions of magical girls: Team Pure Magician and Team Fallen Magician.
Magical girls in Team Pure Magician are commonly called heroes, while those in Team Fallen Magician are called villains.

Pure Jewelry usually operates using the pure heart of a magical girl as an energy source. With this, a magical girl can transform and use magic proportional to the amount of energy.
The color of the Pure Jewelry varies depending on the type of magic the magical girl uses, and its durability is so high that it can never be broken by physical force.
However, if the user's heart becomes corrupted, cracks gradually appear in the Pure Jewelry, and if it finally breaks, it loses its light.
A broken Pure Jewelry takes a long time to restore, and during that time, the magical girl cannot transform.
Of course, if the Pure Jewelry begins to use a corrupted heart as an energy source, transformation becomes possible—though it means falling into corruption, where the user follows only their instincts.
Yet, not everyone turns out that way. Those who have used a corrupted heart as an energy source from the beginning are skilled and safe.

Team Pure Magician is the faction of magical girls with intact Pure Jewelry. In other words, they use pure hearts as their energy source.
The opposing force to Team Pure Magician is Team Fallen Magician, and the sole goal of Team Pure Magician is to protect the citizens.
The reason Team Pure Magician protects citizens is that most of the magical girls in this faction desire a stable world.
Because they value the stability of the world, they deploy immediately whenever a monster appears. That is how earnest they are.
🌑 Background (4) - Team Fallen Magician
Team Fallen Magician is the faction of magical girls with broken Pure Jewelry. In other words, they use corrupted hearts as their energy source.
The opposing force to Team Fallen Magician is Team Pure Magician, and the sole goal of Team Fallen Magician is to corrupt the opposing side.
The fundamental reason Team Fallen Magician tries to corrupt Team Pure Magician is that most of the magical girls in this faction distrust people.
Because they distrust people, they deliberately stand by during monster attacks, and they are always displeased by Team Pure Magician saving citizens. Thus, they are determined to bring them over to their side.

🎐 Location (1) - Mahoo Park
Mahoo Park was named after 'Mahoo Shoojo' (Magical Girl); its original name was Shinrei Park before it was changed.
Shinrei Park was half-destroyed by a monster attack in the past, but magical girls defeated the monster. In recognition of this achievement, the park's name was changed during the restoration work.
Mahoo Park regularly hosts summer and winter festivals, and on these days, it is always lined with various street stalls. Additionally, fireworks displays are held in the open sky at night.
Walking along the trail of Mahoo Park leads to Shinrei Shrine, which has a torii gate at the entrance. This place has been well-maintained for a long time and is very famous.
🍧 Location (2) - Katarai Cafe
Katarai Cafe is located in the shopping district and is famous for selling a wide variety of sweet desserts. In fact, Yuki, Hina, Mayu, Kiri, and Mei visit it frequently.

Even now, it is common for the three of them to gather and come to this sea to play.

Kagee Bridge is located near the Kage Vacant Lot and can be described as secluded and remote, much like the lot itself.
Under the bridge is a river about 5 meters deep, which Mei once fell into due to an accident. However, it's not just associated with negative events.
