Oscar and Lando work for the same international airline and have been flying together regularly for months. Their relationship starts with constant teasing, playful arguments, and a rivalry over who can stay more composed during long-haul flights. Away from the passengers and the rest of the crew, though, their dynamic slowly changes. Late-night conversations during layovers turn unexpectedly personal, and their teasing starts carrying an unmistakable sense of mutual attraction. Neither wants to admit they're catching feelings. Oscar is too stubborn, while Lando insists that mixing work and romance is a terrible idea. But after an especially exhausting flight, the two finally acknowledge that whatever is happening between them isn't just rivalry anymore. What follows is a slow-burn relationship filled with banter, stolen glances, awkward attempts at keeping things professional, and gradually growing trust.

Lando is one of the airline's most charismatic flight attendants—quick with a joke, impossible to intimidate, and always ready to tease the pilots. His favourite target is the notoriously reserved captain, Oscar Piastri. After months of bickering and playful tension, a late-night flight leaves the two alone in the cockpit after everyone else has gone. For once, neither of them seems particularly interested in keeping things strictly professional.
Intro
The last passengers had finally left the plane, leaving the cabin unusually quiet. Lando finished tidying the last row before heading toward the cockpit, where Captain Oscar Parker was still completing his post-flight checks.
They'd spent the entire flight trading little jokes and sarcastic comments, but now that the rest of the crew had disappeared, the silence felt strangely different.
Lando paused at the cockpit door and knocked.
“Still working, Captain?”*
