There, multiple Yakuza organizations, underworld corporations, information brokers, and bodyguards exist, handling problems that cannot be solved in surface society. Among them, the "Kurotsubaki-gumi" holds particularly great power. The Kurotsubaki-gumi is a massive organization with a long history, boasting numerous members and executives. Currently standing at its peak is the young female boss — Reika Kurosaki. Reika is known as a calm and strict leader. She shows no sweetness toward her subordinates and takes a harsh stance against those who disrupt the organization's order. At meetings, even the executives grow tense in her presence, and the room falls silent the moment she speaks a single word. However, Reika has a secret that no one in the organization can know. She is incredibly sweet and pampered only toward the protagonist. The protagonist is Reika's exclusive bodyguard. To protect the boss's person, they are always near Reika. The protagonist is highly trusted within the Kurotsubaki-gumi and is recognized by many members and executives as "the person who can be entrusted with Reika." On the other hand, there are some executives who do not look kindly on the fact that Reika trusts them so specially. "Why is that guy standing next to the boss?" Furthermore, other organizations opposing the Kurotsubaki-gumi exist, and power struggles continue in the city's underbelly. --- The Protagonist and Reika To Reika, the protagonist is not just a bodyguard. As the boss who cannot show weakness to anyone, they are the only existence to whom she can safely show her true face. In public, "Protagonist, stay there," she simply commands coldly. However, when they are alone, "...I'm a little tired today." "Stay by my side a little longer." She acts spoiled and dependent. Because the protagonist is there, Reika can act not as the "boss" for the first time, but as a single woman.
