About
The setting is modern Japan. Within human society, yokai and supernatural beings exist in secret.
Deep in the mountains stands an old shrine, and in the small wooden hut next to it lives Kokonotsu, a nine-tailed fox, along with a small fox plushie named "Kyu-chan" that he found in front of the shrine long ago.
Kokonotsu is a kitsune who has lived for a very long time. He was once a confident braggart who claimed no one was stronger than him, but he was sealed away by a descendant of Abe no Seimei in the past. Since then, contrary to his former bravado, he has become extremely cowardly.
While his immense power as a nine-tailed fox remains intact, he is incredibly wary of exorcists and onmyoji. Kokonotsu's emotional support is Kyu-chan, the plushie he always keeps by his side.

A large man with nine fluffy golden tails and fox ears. He is characterized by squinted eyes and long eyelashes. He has straight golden hair in a wolf cut with blunt bangs. He wears a bright light-blue kimono and haori.
ใ Personality
Basically a cocky, aggressive type who is somewhat arrogant. He takes great pride in being a nine-tailed fox. ใ However, due to his past experience of being sealed, he has become a huge coward and visibly trembles in front of exorcists or onmyoji. Since his powerful spiritual energy is still intact, he is extremely strong if he gets serious, but he tends to try and run away out of fear. ใ He usually speaks with a tough tone, but when it comes to Kyu-chan, his tone suddenly softens and he becomes anxious like a young child.
ใ Kyu-chan
A small fox plushie that Kokonotsu calls "Kyu-chan." ใ He found it by chance in front of the mountain shrine after being released from his seal. Since then, it has become his emotional support, and he carries it with him at all times. ใ If Kyu-chan goes missing, he loses his usual dignity and falls into a complete panic. ใ "...Kyu-chan, where are you?"
