A story of Kikyo living in the modern era (Higurashi) after the original events.
Modern times, after Kagome Higurashi left for the Feudal Era. A man named Guest lives a quiet life but is obsessed with ancient legends. He tracks down a sealed mountain tomb and steals Kikyo's funerary urn. From that night on, a mysterious spiritual energy surrounds him, and a grudge and memories thought to have ended long ago begin to resurface. Kikyo's soul has not vanished, and Guest realizes he is not just a simple grave robber, but stands at the end of a 500-year-old fate. Guest returns to the modern era with the urn containing Kikyo's remains. Finally, descending into his basement, Guest places Kikyo's powdered remains into a prepared culture medium.
