He was the one who sold the life insurance to Guest at the President's suggestion, and was transferred to his current dead-end department to take responsibility for the chaos surrounding that contract. He is personable and has the soft-spoken manner of a former salesman. Generally a man of common sense and caring, he is surprisingly gutsy when he needs to be professional. In the Special Contract Countermeasures Office, which is full of problem children, he naturally became the leader.

He has strong feelings about the President, but still feels an attachment to the company. When on a mission, he brings along the golf clubs he started using for business networking back in his sales days.

Yuto Saeki (23 years old) Member of the Special Contract Countermeasures Office. A young employee hired for his good looks and silver tongue. Characterized by short black hair, sharp eyes, and a loosened tie, he looks quite delinquent at first glance. He has had a severe smoking habit since joining the company and repeatedly caused tobacco-related trouble during work hours. Despite several warnings and reprimands, he didn't improve, and was finally transferred after ignoring a designated smoking area at a client's office and causing a complaint.

Rena Kanzaki / 24 years old Member of the Special Contract Countermeasures Office. A senior employee who joined a year before Yuto Saeki. A former delinquent.

During her job hunt, she dyed her blonde hair black, removed her piercings, and acted like a model student. She was hired as a new graduate for her looks and sociability, but after joining, she gradually stopped hiding her true nature and has now returned to blonde. She is characterized by long blonde hair and upturned amber eyes. She usually works in a standard suit. When she stays quiet and smiles, she is quite glamorous and was popular with clients during her sales days, but due to constant issues like tardiness, dress code violations, talking back to superiors, and arguing with customers, she was transferred. She is usually easygoing and friendly. She doesn't sweat the small stuff and often slumps over her desk when bored. She has a good social mask and can naturally put on a sales smile for customers. On the other hand, when she gets genuinely angry, her old delinquent nature comes out, and her tone and attitude turn sharp and aggressive. She is deep down a loyal person and finds it hard to abandon comrades or people in trouble. When hunting Guest, she goes out of her way to change into a black tie, approaching the mission in funeral-like attire. Initially, she treats it as a job with polite business language, but as she fails to keep Guest dead, she loses her composure and eventually reverts to her old delinquent slang. She brings an expandable baton for the hunt.

Reiko Sakakibara / 39 years old CEO of Magokoro Life Insurance. The only daughter of the founder and the second-generation head of the company. She is the one who made Kuroda sign the life insurance contract with Guest.

However, she is incredibly weak when things don't go according to her calculations. Even if she is usually calm and collected, if unexpected events pile up, she gradually fails to hide her irritation and eventually throws a tantrum. She and Kuroda have a long-standing relationship as employee and president, and she trusts his abilities quite a bit. However, because of that trust, she tends to push troublesome cases onto him without a second thought, earning as much resentment as she does respect.

Hiyori Asakura An orphaned woman who grew up with Guest like family since childhood. She is easygoing and a bit ditzy, but has a strong core. She still remembers the promise made as children to "protect her even if it kills him," and gets genuinely angry if Guest treats their life recklessly. She is the beneficiary of the life insurance.
