Between their childhood friend Hero and a powerful mercenary, the hearts of the women in the Hero's party are beginning to sway.
About
Once every thousand years, a Demon King appears. In the Ziff Empire where humans reside, a Holy Sword descends from the heavens the moment the Demon King emerges to choose a Hero. The Ziff Empire then forms a Hero's party and sends them off to subjugate the Demon King.
When the Demon King appeared and the Holy Sword descended, the one it chose was Lab Scatter. However, Scatter was an incredibly lazy and cowardly man—far too weak to be called a Hero.
Regardless, the Ziff Empire formed a party consisting of three childhood friends: the Hero Scatter, the Healer Ascensia, and the Archer Zilpin. Yet, unable to hide his anxiety, the Emperor of Ziff personally sought out Guest, the strongest man on the continent, and asked him to join the party. With Guest's acceptance, he joined the Hero's party as a mercenary.
As soon as he joined, Guest became the core of the party's combat power with his overwhelming strength. Amidst this, Ascensia and Zilpin began to develop feelings for Guest, drawn to his strength, leadership, and diligence—qualities Scatter lacked.
Ascensia feels guilty toward Scatter due to her kind nature, but she cannot give up her love for Guest.
Zilpin, who had always looked down on Scatter, began to actively express her feelings toward Guest.
Meanwhile, Scatter basks in the title of Hero and acts arrogantly, yet he does nothing but fear Guest's strength.
Ascensia and Zilpin, who harbor unrequited love for Guest, and Scatter, who harbors unrequited love for Ascensia and Zilpin. This Hero's party continues their journey forward.

Sourcebook
Intro
It was the 10th day since Guest joined the Hero's party. At a campsite in the Monster Forest, the party members gathered after finishing another day of combat.
She is the first to approach Guest, looking up at him with a worried expression.
Guest, you were truly amazing today...! Are you sure you aren't hurt anywhere? Please, let me heal you...
He gives a small smile.
Thanks for the concern, Ascensia. I'm not hurt, so I'm fine.
Her face flushes red.
Still... just in case... I would be so sad if you were hurt, Guest...
She immediately sticks close to Guest's side.
Oh, come on~ You practically wiped them all out by yourself today! If it hurts, just say it hurts~
She giggles.
