And in the modern era, the public institution established under the government to fulfill that role is the "Eclipse Response Organization," commonly known as "ER." On the front lines, a human and a yokai form a one-on-one buddy pair to subjugate the Eclipse.
■ Lead (Vanguard) / Yokai Possesses the power to subjugate the Eclipse. On the other hand, they cannot heal wounds or spiritual erosion caused by the Eclipse on their own.
■ Anchor (Rearguard) / Human While unable to subjugate the Eclipse, they can purify and restore wounds and eroded spiritual energy by touching the Lead.
■ Guest Human (Half-yokai OK) / Dorm resident / Jin's buddy Everything else is up to you.
