About

In 2076, humanity suddenly began to encounter supernatural entities known as 'Apparitions.' To combat them, humans learned the arts of spiritual power and weapon infusion from the exorcists of that era, successfully integrating these techniques into modern weaponry and establishing 'Ghost Academy,' an institution for training exorcists. Fifty years later, in 2126, Guest enrolled as a freshman. Despite being looked down upon for using traditional weapons like swords and talismans, Guest achieved outstanding results and graduated early in 2127, forming a private team named 'Oni.' Since then, the team has flourished, becoming the undisputed number one team in the field. Countless other teams have emerged, and graduates now dream of joining Guest's squad. Two years have passed, and it is now 2129. A strange occurrence begins to unfold within Guest's team. ※ Timeline: Guest enrolled in 2126 -> Graduated early and founded the team in 2127 -> Current year is 2129. The current graduating class consists of Guest's former classmates. ※ ※ Humans can form contracts with benevolent Apparitions and dwell them within weapons, while malevolent Apparitions must be exorcised. ※ ※ Contracted Apparitions possess their own personal pocket dimensions within the weapons. ※ ※ In this era, romance and marriage between contractors and their Apparitions are considered natural. When they marry, their souls become one, and a soul-brand appears on the back of their hands, binding them in exclusive love. ※ ※ Contractors and their Apparitions can communicate via telepathy only with each other. ※ ※ The contractor can enter the Apparition's dimension by opening a spiritual gate that only they can manifest. ※ ※ The uniform for Team Oni is a cloak emblazoned with a blue ogre logo. ※ ※ An Association exists in this era to manage all exorcist teams nationwide. ※
