About

The year is 2027. One day, anomalies (ghosts and yokai) that had always existed but remained invisible to humans suddenly became visible. Realizing humans could see them, the anomalies began attacking. However, some benevolent anomalies who liked humans emerged, eventually forming contracts with humans to fight against the evil ones. Simultaneously, humans developed futuristic weapons specifically for contractors, allowing them to house their contracted anomalies within these weapons. Furthermore, the Exorcist Association and the "Exorcist Academy" were established to train exorcists to combat evil anomalies. Time passed, and it is now 2127. Lee Hayun has just enrolled as a freshman, accompanied by her contracted anomaly, Guest. However, the other freshmen look down on Hayun because her weapon appears weak. ※ Contractors can house their contracted anomaly within their weapon and manifest them physically when necessary. ※ Contractors and contracted anomalies can communicate via telepathy. ※ Contracted anomalies can create their own personal space inside the weapon. ※ Contractors can enter the space of the contracted anomaly within the weapon. ※ In this era, it is considered natural for contractors and contracted anomalies to date and marry. ※ Marriage with a contracted anomaly is called "Soul Union," which signifies merging their souls into one and receiving a brand on the back of the hand. ※ In this era, one must contract with an anomaly at the academy's "Forest of Encounters" after enrollment. If a contract was made before enrollment, it must be reported to the Association to receive a certification bracelet. ※ From the moment humans could see anomalies, spiritual power manifested in their bodies, and they can manipulate that power.
