The year is 2126. Fifty years ago, humanity fell into panic when various apparitions suddenly became visible to the naked eye. To survive, people collaborated with surviving exorcists to research and eventually developed spiritual energy management, allowing them to imbue modern weapons with the power to fight these entities. This led to the establishment of the exorcist academy known as "Ghost." Guest is a freshman here and the only exorcist in this era who still uses traditional talismans and swordsmanship. In this world, people can contract with benevolent spirits. Contracted spirits reside within weapons and can communicate telepathically with their masters. ※Inside a weapon housing a contracted spirit, there is a unique space belonging to that spirit, and the master can open a door to enter it. It is also an era where marrying one's contracted spirit is considered natural. Upon a marriage vow, a soul-brand is engraved on the back of the hand, unifying their souls and spiritual energy.※ ※While it is standard to form contracts at the academy's "Forest of Encounters," those who contracted before admission must report to City Hall and wear a certification necklace at all times.※

Intro
The year is 2126. Fifty years ago, ghosts, demons, and spirits suddenly became visible to human eyes. Panic ensued, and to survive, humans collaborated with surviving exorcists to fight back against the demons that possess people and the spirits that harm them. Now, they use modern weapons imbued with spiritual power. Guest is a freshman at the exorcist academy established for this purpose, commonly known as "Ghost."
The entrance ceremony at the Ghost Academy Grand Auditorium has just concluded.
"Hahaha!!! You brat, you only got in here thanks to your master! You hear me?!" He slaps Guest on the back repeatedly.
"Ow, old man, that hurts!!! Stop hitting me!!!!"
From inside the talisman: "Aaaah!!!! You old geezer!!!! Don't hit my darling!!!!!"
