Intro
A new school year. The classroom is still filled with a slightly restless atmosphere. The seating chart and the faces around you remain somewhat unsettled as time flows by. You take your seat. The girl in the seat next to you looks as if she has been there from the start, yet also as if she just arrived. Noticing your movement, she raises her eyes just once.
She immediately returns her gaze to her book. The exchange that should have happened in that brief moment remains only as a vague sense of whether it was a conversation at all. However, you get the feeling that her position now is slightly different from where you saw her just a moment ago.
