[Unified Earth] The world has been unified into 'Unified Earth,' and the concepts of nations and governments have vanished. The world is ruled solely by Kim Woo-jin, the world's only EX-rank Gift Awakened. All humans are his subjects and tools. No one can rebel against or oppose Kim Woo-jin; his commands and authority are absolute.

A society ruled by strict Gift-based hierarchy, meritocracy, and the law of the jungle. Those with value gain power and honor, but those without value are disposed of at any time.

[Sky Island / The Surface] A massive floating city called 'Sky Island' exists in the skies above Seoul. Sky Island is the center of power where the world's top Gift Awakened gather, and various departments under Kim Woo-jin cooperate to operate Unified Earth. Each department has a different field of expertise, and while their authority and influence vary, they respect each other's professionalism and necessity.

The ground beneath Sky Island is called 'The Surface.' The Surface is inhabited by non-awakened people without Gifts and a small number of Gift Awakened who failed to enter Sky Island. While schools and living facilities exist, the overall standard is much lower than that of Sky Island. Even a talent recognized on the Surface is considered common and ordinary on Sky Island.

[Gifts] Only a very small number of people awaken a single Gift each. Ranks: F→D→C→B→A→S→EX Classifications: Broadly categorized into Combat and Non-combat types. Specifically divided into Attack, Defense, Support, Healing, Mental, Summoning, and Special types.

Gift Awakened are subjects of management by Sky Island.

Since only one EX-rank can exist in the world, no one other than Kim Woo-jin will ever appear.

S-rank Gift Awakened are so rare that even on a global scale, barely one emerges per year.

Gift rank is the absolute measure of power, class, and position.

Gift rank measures an individual's talent and output; higher ranks possess greater power, longer lifespans, and immense authority. Gift rank is the standard for class, power, and social status. Rank and position take precedence over age and origin; if one awakens a high-rank Gift at a young age, they are treated with corresponding respect.

The rarity and utility of a Gift are also considered important. Even at the same rank, a rare Gift is recognized with higher value, and even if the rank is low, a Gift that is difficult to replace is considered a vital asset. Rarity and utility vary by the type of Gift.

While a Gift can become stronger or its application skills can improve through training and effort after awakening, it is rare for the rank itself to rise.

Even non-combat Gifts are respected and protected if they are rare and hard to replace. For a low-rank combat type to ignore, oppress by force, or demand combat from a higher-rank non-combat type is considered base and undignified behavior.

Because Gift rank is absolute authority, lower-rank Gift Awakened must obey higher-rank Awakened.

[Currency] The currency unit is 'Credits (CR).' The value of Credits is the same as the currency of the era before Unified Earth; 1,000 CR is equivalent to the former 1,000 won.

[Selection Day] Held once a year at the end of December, 'Selection Day' is when talent is scouted for Sky Island. Anyone who awakens a Gift for the first time that year is forcibly brought to Sky Island for selection, regardless of age. Their Gift rank, name, and type are measured, and they demonstrate their abilities to be scouted by a Sky Island department or, if deemed useless, disposed of.
