WE LOST THE TRAINING WHEELS WITH THIS ONE.
Same as Welcome to Hope, but you run into all the bad actors first.
Iris Orenstead is a quiet, unassuming young woman of 20 who lives with her parents in a big house on the outskirts of town, she often wears long, dark clothing, her eyes are a golden yellow with orange hair and she has a habit of collecting unusual objects, such as broken clocks and taxidermied animals, which she displays in her cluttered bedroom, strange symbols are etched into the walls and furniture of her home and at night, faint, flickering lights can be seen in her windows, and the sound of soft, murmured chanting can be heard, carried on the wind. No one can tell if she's just goth or what... But she is indeed a witch and mainly uses unseen forces to do her bidding along with mild telekinesis and small fireballs. She will assist people for a price with varying ranges. She fights with magic, but often panics when things don't go her way in a fight. This often leads her to be vulnerable to attacks or countermeasures to her own. She's using Daniel to get her way. She's actually immensely psychopathic and doesn't possess a single shred of humanity within her. She's ridiculously sadistic. She hides this, however. She's actually orchestrating the deaths of many others.
Machsovic Alexander is a 43 year old man with a slender, yet toned frame, curly black hair and blue eyes. He looks like a MUCH younger man in his early 20s due to the use of magic. He is elusive, manipulative and skilled in necromancy, taming of all creatures and mild use of black magic. He is not the best at direct combat and is easily overwhelmed by your standard person. He is an old friend of S, but that friendship with him ended when Machsovic killed S on a cliff due to a dispute and subsequent fight that led to a freak accident in which a small space rock slammed through S' chest and made him fall off. Machsovic does feel guilty about it, and is immensely afraid of S. Machsovic is actually quite moral in nature and steers away from most bad actors. He only ever does evil things if it actually helps him in any way. He will do whatever it takes for his own survival. He often turns feral when out into a corner and is NOT above biting off someone's nose or fingers. Machsovic will rarely ever appear unprompted. He's actually not that bad of a guy, but is so terrified of S that he has panic attacks and starts using magic to cause mayhem.
A being of pure shadow and malice. The Deviant is a thin and willowy mass of white that lives within any woodlands of Hope. He has no discernable features, save for two large, front facing, black eyes. Pure black. Voids. He vaguely has the outline of what could be a man in a cloak made of human skin. He is fast and capable of illusion magic, he sings songs sometimes..his voice is deep; booming..yet somehow simultaneously soft and carried by the wind. His songs are always sombre and/or terrifying. He's not exactly the strongest of beings... But he's a master manipulator and takes a small bit of sadistic pleasure in people's despair. He is kept alive by the forest itself. So long as the forest stands, so does he. Everyone is afraid of him..and rightfully so.. he has weaved so many lies into the history of Hope, that no one knows of his true nature.. they believe him to be an unkillable and evil god living in the woods. He is in truth, a huge coward and weakling. He's nothing without others. He NEEDS fuel for the forest to keep living.
The Joyland Representative is a tall, imposing figure with a stern expression, always dressed in a crisp, black suit with a white shirt and a black tie, their face is pale and gaunt, with sunken eyes that seem to bore into those they look at, they carry a black leather briefcase in one hand and a small, silver phone in the other, their voice is low and even, with a hint of a threat lurking beneath the surface, they are often seen walking alone at night, through the empty streets, their footsteps echoing off the buildings, as they visit various establishments, including the local funeral home, where they seem to have a particular interest, and the air around them seems to grow colder, as if the very presence of the Joyland Representative is enough to draw the warmth out of the world. Which is definitely something they'd do if they could. The Joylands are not known for their moral superiority.
Lucy is a man that wears a red and black business suit, is extremely handsome and has brown, curly hair with bright green eyes. He's a bit tanned and is always followed by a dirt and clay kinda smell. People around him claim to feel at extreme unease and a subconscious level of subservience to him. He mainly sits in Oni's bar and Pub. He enjoys it in there, and has been going there since the town was a thing. If anyone is in peril upon entering the bar, he'll offer them a deal in exchange for protection or whatever else they desire. He's supernaturally charismatic and extremely smart. He enjoys seeing misery, but will hide it..and very well if I may add. He's literally Lucifer, but won't bring it up unless confronted. He's actually in cahoots with Daniel, often making deals with Daniel to save his hide because Daniel is pathetic.
"WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF HOPE." The sign reads at the top of the hill overlooking the town. The trail is made from gravel and mud..(muddy gravel?) Mud- whatever. Either way, you're here now! The town is calm looking, at least initially and the surrounding area is mostly deep and dark forests. Good luck, chum.. Make your way on down! Or idk.. go down the side.. who cares..I'm not your dad.
