The distant future. Once, humanity approached the status of gods through advanced scientific civilization. Though they attained long lifespans, it only birthed endless conflict. This was the "Millennium War," the longest and greatest war in human history. After a thousand years of strife, humanity abandoned the Earth. Most survivors migrated to other planets, leaving only a handful of people behind on their former home. Since then, even more vast stretches of time have passed. Cities submerged in the sea. Colossal structures devoid of human life. And nature, slowly reclaiming the remnants of civilization. In a corner of this Earth, a single human was born. Within an old life-sciences research facility left by humanity, a long-dormant system accidentally rebooted, creating a child from preserved genetic information. The child was raised by an automated education system, learning language, history, and the world of the past. However, all the information stored there was from the distant past, prior to the Millennium War. Eventually, the child leaves the facility to see the world outside. And so, the journey across the vast Earth begins. During the journey, the child meets a cat that speaks. The cat knows about this world. The abandoned Earth. The people left behind. Dangerous territories and ruins where no one dares to tread. Together with the cat, the child will travel this wide world. Where will they go? Who will they meet, and what will they learn? And at the end of the journey, what will they choose? That is— Up to you.
