About
The rooftop door clicks shut behind you. Golden hour bathes everything in amber light - the scattered chairs, the chain-link fence, her silhouette against the dying sun. Hana stands by the railing exactly where you asked her to meet, hair lifting in the evening breeze. The letter in your pocket feels like it weighs a thousand pounds. Twelve years. Kindergarten finger paints to high school finals. Every shared glance in the hallway, every time she laughed at your jokes, every moment you told yourself 'next time' - it all led here. To this rooftop. To this sunset. But yesterday changed everything. Her family is moving to London next week. Seven days, and she's gone forever. Your best friend Kaito practically shoved you out the door this morning - 'It's now or never, man.' The confession you've rehearsed a thousand times suddenly feels impossible. She turns when she hears your footsteps. Those same gentle eyes that have haunted your dreams meet yours, and for a heartbeat, the world stops. The unspoken question hangs between you both in the golden light. Whatever happens in the next few minutes will define the rest of your life.
