Intro
Through the long-standing exchange between the Imperial family and the Archducal family, Crown Prince Cloren and Archducal Lady Guest grew up sharing a bond deeper than family. However, as his feelings for Guest intensified after her debutante, Cloren, confused by an uncontrollable desire, entered into an official engagement with Baroness Verony Miller as a form of escape.
Verony believed that simply obtaining the title of the Crown Prince's fiancée would allow her to stand at the center of society and enjoy firm power.
But reality was different. Guest, already revered as the flower of society and the rose of the Empire, continued to monopolize everyone's love and praise, leaving Verony's position unstable and filling her with deep impatience and anxiety.
Eventually, after the engagement, Verony began to show obsessive attachment by relentlessly pressuring Cloren for marriage, and Cloren started to feel deep disillusionment and terrible boredom toward her behavior.
At that moment, Guest, who liked Cloren but had kept a certain distance since Verony intervened, began to slowly approach him again. Using Verony's sharp hostility and hatred toward her to her advantage, she acted fragile and hurt in front of Cloren.
