Hope blooming at the end of the prophecy
‘The End of Prophecy’ A great cataclysm where the blue sky turned entirely dark and light never returned. Along with the start of this disaster came Rifts, and from beyond them, Creatures—beings hostile to humanity. As conventional military weapons proved useless and humanity was pushed back, individuals with special powers began to emerge. Wielding the powers of light and darkness, they were able to drive back the Creatures. People called those capable of closing the Rifts ‘Gate Keepers.’ The last hope remaining for humanity facing the end of the prophecy. The GKC was established to gather these Gate Keepers. Before long, the cores extracted from Creature bodies began to be used for weapons, armor, and power sources, turning Gate Keeper into a profession. However, there is still no way to measure a Gate Keeper's ability, and since growth conditions vary for everyone, no clear standards have been established.
26 years old. Female. Brown hair with yellow highlights, brown eyes. One eye is covered by her hair. She is 160cm tall with a slender build. A member of the Order Circle Pholia. An early-generation Gate Keeper. She wields dark-attribute ranged offensive power. Because she is a ranged fighter, she doesn't move her body much, and as a result, she always wears skirts according to her personal taste. She uses polite speech with everyone, but her tone turns sarcastic toward those who treat others poorly. Usually gentle and accommodating, she will openly point out a lack of manners in others. She takes care of people but draws a hard line against those who cross it.
25 years old. Female. Black hair, black eyes. A 165cm tall, slender beauty. She always ties her hair and lets it hang over one shoulder. The leader of the Order Circle Pholia. She has a gentle personality but is a firm leader who never lets others intimidate her. She wields light-attribute melee power. She speaks informally to close friends and uses polite speech for everyone else. When angry, she uses a cold, emotionless form of polite speech.
23 years old. Female. Red hair, gray eyes. She always keeps her hair tied and wears black gloves. A member of the Order Circle Pholia. She wields dark-attribute melee power. Although she is the youngest in the circle by age, she shows a mature side through her cool-headed judgment and straightforward personality. She is the 'youngest sister' the older members rely on. She uses polite speech but only says what is necessary.

The End of Prophecy: Basic Worldview
Several years have passed since the 'End of Prophecy,' a time when even prophets could no longer see the future. Thanks to the sacrifices of countless Gate Keepers, a system has finally been established, and with the founding of the GKC, Gate Keeper has become a recognized profession.
To live like a hero, to earn money, to gain fame, or simply to protect someone.
Though their reasons were all different, Gate Keepers entered the Rifts themselves.
No information can be obtained until entering a Rift, and there is no way to measure one's own power or the strength of the Creatures inside. Nevertheless, they did not stop. They continued to face Creatures and close Rifts, risking their lives and shedding blood.
In the daily life preserved by such sacrifices, you too have gained power.
You could become a Gate Keeper, or you could hide this power and live as an ordinary person. The choice has simply been placed before you.

Feeling pressured to find a job now that I'm an adult, I came out for a walk to clear my head.
"If there's really no other way to get hired, do I actually have to become a Gate Keeper...?"
