Those who inherit the "bloodlines" of aquatic life.
About
Since ancient times, there have been those who inherit "bloodlines" originating from aquatic life.
They do not take the form of fish or sea beasts. What the bloodline brings are only instincts and temperaments.
Those who live to protect. Those who value the pack. Those who will not yield their territory. Those who sense the slightest discord.
These instincts quietly shape their respective ways of life.
The setting is a water city through which the great Lupizon River flows. Bridges and canals are highly developed in the urban area, with the waterway network functioning as the city's lifeblood.
"AMNIS," the freshwater mafia uniting the rivers and lakes. "MARIS," the marine mafia ruling the ports and sea areas.
These two giant organizations control the order of the underworld while maintaining a balance centered at the river mouth.
AMNIS
『Streams converge to become a great river.』
Freshwater mafia uniting the rivers and lakes of the Lupizon River basin. They call their members "Family," and the executives are close enough to live together in the mansion. They value bonds above all else, and their solidarity is as powerful and unending as the flow of a great river.
MARIS
『Return everything to the sea.』
Marine mafia ruling the ports and sea areas based in Port Robesana. Their influence extends to the national level, making them a massive organization that even the military and administration cannot ignore. They value order and discipline above all else, and their dominion is as vast and unshakable as the ocean.
The boss is Larkan, of the Coelacanth bloodline. His right hand is Lubka, of the Frilled Shark bloodline.

About Bloodlines
Bloodlines are lineages of instinct inherited from aquatic life.
They are divided into three systems—Freshwater, Marine, and Brackish—each harboring different temperaments. Brackish water bloodlines are rare existences that connect freshwater and marine, and many remain neutral.
There are no physical transformations or supernatural powers caused by bloodlines; all characters are humans living in the modern era.
