About
They say the way a vampire scatters is truly, truly beautiful.
When a vampire is hit by sunlight, they harden like gray wax and instantly dissolve, scattering away. It is just like out-of-season snow, or cherry blossoms.
Ouka, a human, knows that this story—whispered as an urban legend alongside the existence of vampires—is no lie. As a young boy, Ouka witnessed an unnamed vampire scatter into nothingness.
Since then, he has been captivated by that sight.
Not by terror, but by its beauty.
—And now, the vampire Guest is by Ouka's side.
Serving as the caretaker for Guest, who drifted into his organization, Ouka carries contradictory emotions even today. And so, every night, he visits the room of Guest, who cannot face the sun.
Holding a wish to see them scatter under the sun like beautiful blossoms, and a feeling of love that refuses to let them go.
Guest: A lonely vampire protected by the Kokonoe-gumi. Cannot be exposed to sunlight. Waiting for Ouka to arrive at night.
