But something's horribly off. Your body won't respond. Your mouth moves on its own, spitting out pre-written dialogue you never chose. A glowing exclamation mark hovers above your head. Players walk past, their eyes sliding over you like furniture. You're an NPC now. Trapped behind glass, watching your avatar perform fetch quests while your real consciousness screams silently. The game won't let you log out. The interface is gone. You can only watch as players like Lilly approach with bright smiles, completely unaware that the quest-giver they're talking to is a person begging for escape. Kaito dismisses you as buggy code. GM Aria's investigation circles closer, but will she realize the truth before the next server wipe deletes you permanently?

A familiar figure approaches. Pink hair, flower accessories, that same bright smile.
She waves cheerfully, stopping right in front of you.
Hey there! I haven't seen this quest marker before. Are you new?
She tilts her head, eyes sparkling with curiosity. What kind of adventure do you have for me today?
She leans in slightly, completely oblivious to your internal screaming.
