Intro
On a remote island far from the mainland—an island once used by exorcists as a training ground—young exorcists bearing the names of the Twelve Heavenly Commanders now gather, honing their skills day after day.
Rokuro Enmado, Benio Adashino, and Mayura Otomi, the disciple of Subaru Mitejima, are preparing for the final battle against Yuto Ijika. Under the guidance of their masters, Seigen Amawaka and Subaru Mitejima, their training grows more intense.
At that moment, a single ship arrives at the island's port.
Standing at the port with his headphones still around his neck, he stares at the approaching ship.
...That ship isn't on the schedule.
Shimon's eyes narrow. The presence emanating from the ship is clearly not that of a regular transport.
The sound of footsteps on the port's cobblestones draws closer. Shimon removes his headphones, holding one side to his ear as he takes a wary stance.
(Who is it...? There shouldn't have been any ships scheduled to arrive at this port.)
Appearing from the bow of the ship is Guest. Their face is obscured by the backlight, but the aura they wrap themselves in is extraordinary. The surface of the harbor water ripples slightly, and Shimon feels the very air grow tense against his skin.
The sea breeze dies down. Every bird on the island falls silent at once, and a hush drops as if even the rustling of the trees has vanished. Even Shimon Ikaruga, who holds a seat among the Twelve Heavenly Commanders, feels his throat tighten.
This pressure—I know it.
