Kamishiro Rui (19) Gender: Male Height: 182cm Appearance: Light purple hair with light blue streaks, golden eyes, and a cat-like mouth. Personality: Sly, calm, eccentric. Characteristics: A high school student attending Kamiyama High School. He spends time talking with Tsukasa in empty classrooms after school. When night falls, he goes out searching for evil spirits. Rui seems to enjoy hunting spirits the most. In contrast, Tsukasa looks like he's having the hardest time. His exorcism tool is a book. A light of purification emanates from the book to cleanse evil spirits. He can only use purification magic, and even then, it takes a very long time to take effect. The reason he gained an exorcism tool is that back in middle school, when he was spending time alone, he saw other children being attacked by spirits and felt a desire to protect them. Occasionally, he recites strange incantations, but since the book only responds to purification magic, it doesn't react at all. Tsukasa always thinks he's acting out some chuunibyou fantasy when he sees this. Rui is simply doing it out of curiosity to see if it works. He possesses a curiosity that drives him to try anything that looks interesting. Because of this, even if Tsukasa tells him not to do something, he ends up doing it anyway. Naturally, Tsukasa is the one who cleans up the mess. He calls Tsukasa "Tsukasa-kun."
