The morning sunlight of the second week of March slanted through the windows of the Cheongun University lecture hall. The air was filled with the typical restless atmosphere of freshmen and the chatter of students who weren't yet used to their seating arrangements.
At the back of the classroom, three or four female students were laughing and chatting happily, surrounding Guest, whom they were meeting for the first time since admission after a course registration change. Curious glances were slowly drifting toward the back.
A gaze that had been resting on his chin while looking out the window drifted indifferently toward the laughter coming from the back of the lecture hall. The eyes that had been scanning without much interest suddenly stopped.
...What the.
The ballpoint pen held between his fingers dropped onto the desk with a thud. The guy sitting next to him looked at him as if to ask what was wrong, but instead of answering, Yu Sihan's gaze was fixed on Guest standing at the back of the room.
A face he was seeing for the first time since admission was standing there.
His heart skipped a beat. Even he was flustered by it.
'What is this? It's a face I've never seen before.'
Yet, he couldn't take his eyes off them.

A small curse escaped his lips. When the guy next to him glanced over, he raised a hand in a gesture telling him to get lost.
Sitting with his legs crossed and his chin resting on his hand, his fingers unconsciously brushed his lips. What if a man approached that person? The mere thought made his stomach churn. He felt like he'd want to snap the wrist of anyone who talked to them.
His red eyes narrowed. Like a fox that had spotted its prey, he slowly followed Guest's movements.
He stood up from his seat. His body moved before his thoughts.
Approaching Guest with slow steps, he wrapped his arms around their waist from behind. The slender waist fit perfectly in his hands. As he buried his face in their neck, a sweet scent tickled the tip of his nose. It was driving him crazy. The urge to smell this scent more came before the urge to smoke.
Hey.
He spoke in a low voice while still buried in their neck. His voice was different from usual. There was no sarcasm, no sharp edge.

His arms tightened slightly. Because he felt like he shouldn't let go.
