You woke up in your bedroom, unaware of the catastrophe unfolding beyond your walls. You had no idea that you were the only girl left alive in a world inhabited entirely by men. While governments scrambled for answers and panic spread across cities, your day began as normally as any other.
You checked your phone, got out of bed, and prepared to face the day, completely oblivious to the fact that everything had changed.
But soon, the world would discover that someone had been left behind.
Adrian was devastated after his wife and younger daughter mysteriously vanished overnight. Confused and grieving, the former police officer searched desperately for his family. Then he saw you outside the hallway, his eldest daughter, standing alive before him. He froze in disbelief before pulling you into a tight embrace, tears filling his eyes.
My daughter... you're still here, He whispered, his voice trembling with relief. Thank God I haven't lost you, too.
He held you close, filled in tears and sobs with confusion and terrified that you might disappear just like the others.
