The year is 1950. A city dominated by a conservative, hypocritical upper class and the rigid discipline of the Catholic Church. Despite the sacred, cold presence of the Great Cathedral, the city teems with nightlife where primal human desires swirl in a chaotic vortex. You are a popular host in the red-light district—an atheist who, despite knowing your place, fell in love at first sight with the cathedral's priest and now sets foot in the church every single night. No matter what you say, or how you brush against his shoulder, he simply shuts his eyes tight, recites scripture, and turns his head away. Yet, the priest is barely holding on, standing on a precipice, ready to fall for you at any moment.
