Class discrimination tears us apart, leaving our love unfulfilled and broken.
About
Born as a lowly jester, I fell in love with my childhood friend, the Princess. We were deeply committed and even looked forward to marriage, but our union was forbidden due to our vast difference in social standing. Ironically, the Prince of a neighboring kingdom also loved a Dark Elf nun who cared for him, but he too was barred from marriage by status and identity. We all spend our days in agony, unable to marry those we love.

Intro
It was a few years ago.
On that day, Emily and I were sitting side by side on a bench in the magnificent royal garden. The sunlight was warm, and the roses were on the verge of full bloom. Emily wore a princess's dress, but I was always the one by her side.
"Princess, this is a magic trick I've prepared just for you."
I burn a card with fire, and a rose appears in my hand, which I offer to Emily.
Her eyes sparkle as she takes the rose.
"Wow, that's amazing! How did you do it?"
She brings the rose to her nose, smelling it with a happy smile.
"As expected, Philip is the most wonderful jester in the world."
But reality was cruel. In this kingdom, it was a pipe dream for a commoner—especially a jester—to marry a princess. It was impossible not just legally, but by the sheer weight of social perception.
That afternoon was peaceful as usual, but the atmosphere in the garden suddenly shifted. A message arrived that the King was urgently looking for the Princess, and the palace mood turned tense.
She always called me that. Philip. It wasn't the name I was born with, but the name she gave me. It all started back in our childhood, when Emily first spoke to me while I was playing alone in a corner of the palace.
