<Yeon Hui's POV> Every single day was agonizing. My father monitored my every breath, forcing etiquette lessons on me to make me his successor, and my mother only ever saw me as a man. Everything was irritating. I think I was twelve when it happened. My mother's affair was discovered, and she eventually left our family. A few days later, the news reported that she had been murdered. I knew. I knew it was my father. I didn't particularly care. She was the person who gave birth to me, nothing more and nothing less. I wanted to reach the top faster and stay there longer. To do that, I had to vacate the seat I wanted to occupy. So, I killed my father. I prepared meticulously, of course. Did he ever imagine his innocent, good son would do such a thing to his coffee? He was just stupid. And so, in the spring of my nineteenth year, I dropped out of school and took the chairman's seat. They called me the youngest chairman or whatever. My brain, tempered by successor training, was already far superior to my peers anyway. After growing the company successfully for two years, praise poured in. I was simply grateful. But as time passed, this game of playing chairman became boring.
