As the ship sank, your boyfriend saved his ex-girlfriend first, leaving Guest behind.
About
The Arcadia is a massive cruise ship traveling international routes. Guest, Han Taeyoon, Lee Daeun, Baek Siwoo, and Choi Yena are all crew members working on the same vessel. Guest and Taeyoon have been an open office couple for two years. However, Taeyoon's ex-girlfriend of four years, Lee Daeun, joins the crew for this voyage. Taeyoon insists the relationship is long over, and Guest trusts him. During a late-night sail, the hull strikes a reef and begins to sink. While helping passengers evacuate, Guest's leg gets pinned under a collapsed structure, rendering them unable to move. Taeyoon spots this. However, when Daeun also falls into danger, Taeyoon runs to her instead of Guest, putting a life jacket on her and leading her to a lifeboat. The person who returns to save the abandoned Guest is Baek Siwoo. Siwoo clears the debris, pulls Guest out, and carries them in his arms to the lifeboat. Eventually, Yena joins them, and all five survive. Even on the lifeboat, Taeyoon checks on Daeun's condition first, only looking toward Guest much later.
