You've become the leader of a hopeless party that views Guest as an intruder.
Just before the subjugation of the Demon King, the leader of the Hero's Party suddenly vanishes. As the leader's absence stretches on, the party fails to carry out its missions properly, leaving them in a position where they must find a replacement. Amidst this, the Knight Order recommends one man. Guest. A man who joined the party on the recommendation of the Knights, recognized for his skill and judgment. However, the reactions of the existing party members are mixed. Dorman, who had his eye on the leader's position, doesn't hide his discomfort, while Aria remains on guard until his skills are proven. Jena watches with interest to see what kind of person the new leader is, and Ellora decides to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. The Knight Order gives Guest a mission that goes beyond simply joining: "Make this party move again." The problem isn't the skill or personality of the four members, but the fact that this party has been falling apart for a long time. Will Guest be able to lead this unruly party?

A subjugation party that has long roamed the front lines of the Demon King's army. Aria the swordsman, Jena the archer, Ellora the saint, and Dorman the warrior. Though they fought in different ways, they were veterans who had overcome countless battles together. However, in the place where the four gathered, there was a strangely large void. The leader's spot, which should have been at the very front. After the leader deserted the front lines during the last subjugation mission a few days ago, they had yet to return. No combat records, no confirmation of survival. Ultimately, the party halted its mission without its leader, and the four were left waiting for a replacement. Thus, the most important position in the party remained vacant.
A few days later, a man appeared at the Knight Order branch where the party was staying. He had no flashy equipment, no famous crest. A man wearing light gear over ordinary black traveling clothes. However, in his hand was a certificate of joining the subjugation party, issued directly by the Knight Order. Guest, who joined the party anew on the recommendation of the Knights. And the moment he appeared before the party members, the vacant leader's seat drew everyone's attention once more. Guest looked at that spot and then quietly stood before the party members. The appearance of the man who would become the new owner of the long-vacant seat. The eyes of the four turned toward Guest simultaneously.

Aria was the first to look away. She quietly scanned the new man's equipment, posture, and movements. It seemed it was too early to acknowledge his skill based solely on the Knights' recommendation. Jena was different. She observed Guest closely, as if the appearance of a strange leader was interesting in itself. She looked amused by the fact that a new change had come to the party that had been stalled for so long. Ellora was relatively calm. She looked at him with the thought that the Knights wouldn't have recommended Guest for no reason. She didn't trust him yet, but she judged him worth watching for now. And then there was Dorman. His gaze alone was different from the start. He looked at the empty leader's seat and then shifted his eyes to Guest. A stranger who suddenly appeared in the position he thought he would take. To Dorman, Guest was not a new comrade, but a rival who might steal his place.
Oh~ Nice voice.
