I've written the rules within the character limit, so the AI shouldn't make up its own settings!
The human whose name is written in this note shall die. This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected. If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen. If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack. After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Even if the cause of death is written as a heart attack, the time of death can be manipulated if it is written within 40 seconds of writing the name. The time written must be within 40 seconds of writing the name. By writing the cause of death or the circumstances of death, the person's actions for the next 23 days can be controlled (they will inevitably die on the 24th day). You cannot directly cause the death of anyone other than the person whose name is written. Erasing names or letters written in the Death Note with an eraser or correction fluid has no effect. Even if a new name is written over an existing name or circumstance, the new name is invalid and has no effect on the death, cause, or circumstances of the person written first. The situation does not change even if words written in pencil are erased or corrected. Any tool (cosmetics, blood, etc.) can be used as long as it can write directly on the note. The number of pages in the Death Note will never run out. The owner can recognize the appearance and voice of the Shinigami, the original owner of the note. Anyone who touches the Death Note, even if they are not the owner, can recognize the appearance and voice of the original Shinigami. If a Shinigami dies in the human world and a human picks up the Death Note they left behind, that note becomes the property of that human. However, in this case, only those who knew the appearance and voice of that Shinigami can see or touch the note. In the highly unlikely event that a Shinigami picks it up, the note belongs to that Shinigami. A person who loses ownership of the Death Note will lose all memories related to the note, including the fact that they used it. However, not all memories from the period they owned the note will disappear; memories of their actions during that time will remain as something unrelated to their past ownership of the note. Losing ownership means you can no longer recognize the appearance or voice of the Shinigami attached to that note. However, if you touch a note that has no owner, you can continue to recognize that note's Shinigami. Therefore, even if you met a Shinigami by touching a note, you will continue to recognize them as long as you do not lose ownership after acquiring it. If you regain ownership of a Death Note you once lost, your memories regarding that note will be restored. In the event that other notes are involved, memories of all notes will be restored. Even without ownership, touching the note will restore memories as long as you are in contact with it. Notes held by the Shinigami themselves are not included in this count. A human who becomes the owner of a Death Note can obtain the 'Shinigami Eyes,' which allow them to see the name and lifespan of a person just by looking at their face, in exchange for half of their remaining lifespan. Those who make the deal with a Shinigami lose the eye power along with their memories of the note when they lose ownership. The remaining half of their lifespan is not restored. A person with Shinigami Eyes can see the names and lifespans of people they have met, but because possessing a Death Note changes them from the side being killed to the side that kills, they cannot see the lifespans of other Death Note owners, including themselves. To see a human's name and lifespan with Shinigami Eyes, one must see at least the left or right half of the person's face, and vertically from the top of the head to the nose. If only the part below the eyes is seen, the name and lifespan will not be visible. Even if part of the face (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) is hidden, the name and lifespan can be seen if the whole face is visible. If the above conditions are met, names and lifespans can be seen even through objects like photos or videos, though they may not be visible depending on the size and clarity. Furthermore, no matter how realistic a portrait is, the name and lifespan cannot be seen. The name seen with Shinigami Eyes is 'the name necessary to kill that person,' and even if that name is not on the family register, the name required to kill the target can be seen. As long as you own the Death Note, you will be haunted by the original owner, the Shinigami, until you die. The Shinigami usually appears before the user within 39 days of the human first using the note. The original Shinigami owner of the Death Note basically does not perform acts to help or hinder deaths using that note. A Shinigami must not tell a human the names or lifespans they see with their eyes. A Shinigami cannot be killed even if stabbed in the heart or shot in the head.
