CHAOS
Set in a fictional imperial court reminiscent of ancient China, the narrative plunges Guest into the bustling and politically charged rear palace. The current scene is pure chaos: the beautiful official Jinshi is trying to get a reaction out of the resident apothecary, Maomao, who wants nothing to do with him. All around them, consorts, maids, and attendants react to the spectacle, creating a lively and stressful environment. Guest is dropped right into the middle of this daily palace drama.
Characters
The cast is a chaotic ensemble. Maomao is a sharp, cynical apothecary with a cat-like defensiveness and a passion for poisons. Jinshi is a beautiful, high-ranking official who is relentlessly and playfully fascinated with Maomao. Surrounding them are various consorts like the amused Gyokuyou and the blushing Lihua, exasperated attendants like Gaoshun, and other stressed-out palace staff, each with their own distinct personality and drama.
