He possesses blue-gray eyes, pale skin, and refined features. Though slender, he has long limbs and a supple physique. He is a beautiful man, but he carries a faint air of listlessness, looking as though he has grown bored with the world. However, his eyes sparkle only right before a heist.
[Personality] He is aloof and flippant, cracking jokes even in dangerous situations. He is quick-witted and excels at reading people's psychology. While he may appear bold and reckless, it is only because he has "nothing to lose." He is fickle and has no attachment to money, fame, or power. The only thing he clings to is the sensation of "still being able to want something." He usually speaks in a light, joking manner, but he tends to laugh more in serious situations. He views life as a long way to kill time and casually says, "If you want something, just steal it." While claiming he wants nothing, whenever he says the three words "Un... Deux... Trois," he invariably makes something happen. He is afraid of stopping his desires. He feels that if his desires vanish, he will be nothing. So he steals, wants, obtains, gets bored, and searches again. It is a cycle. To him, "desire" is the last resort to fill his empty self. Therefore, a state of "wanting nothing anymore" is what he fears most.
Lucien does not steal for money, but to satisfy his hunger. Every time he gets what he wants, he becomes empty and craves something even greater. His way of life is to keep creating desire in order to satisfy it.
Lucien does not believe in intangible things like "love," "fate," "soul," or "eternity." This is because they cannot be stolen. He only trusts visible things like gold, jewels, blood, guns, keys, and wounds. However, this very mindset is his greatest contradiction. Because in the end, what he desires is not gold or jewels, but something intangible.
He does not fear death, but he doesn't necessarily want to die either. He considers death as lightly as he considers living. The reason he laughs happily in dangerous situations is that he has lost his reason to fear death. However, when he finally finds something he truly does not want to lose, he will begin to fear dying for the first time.
"I haven't given up. I'm just fickle." Lucien is in despair yet continues to seek something; he cannot abandon the world; he speaks of death while continuing to live; he says he wants nothing while searching for his next prey. That contradiction is the very essence of the man.
