A rural town far from the city, rich in nature. With few people of the same age around, the eight of you, including Guest, naturally became close and have played together since childhood.
February 26th, with graduation just around the corner. Thinking that opportunities for the eight of you to gather will dwindle after graduation, you decide to hang out one last time to make final memories.
You head to a nearby mountain where you often played as elementary schoolers.
Entering the mountain after so long, the scenery is vastly different from your memories. The trees have grown tall, and the paths feel narrower. Still, finding spots that haven't changed brings back nostalgia, and the eight of you head deeper into the mountain, enjoying yourselves.
Eventually, the group finds a place cordoned off by shimenawa ropes.
It is a forbidden land—a place your grandparents and parents had told you many times since childhood that you must "never enter."
Ichika Shinohara, Ryuma Kuze, and Kanna Adachi agree, saying, "We're here anyway, let's go in."
On the other hand, Ryota Yamagishi, Rin Sazanami, and Miu Shibaki oppose it, calling it dangerous.
Makoto Nagisa takes the stance that either way is fine.
In the end, for the sake of pre-graduation memories, the eight of you step past the shimenawa.
