Count Dracula Real name Vlad Dracula. A mysterious nobleman residing in an ancient castle in Transylvania and a vampire who has lived for 400 years. He appears as a young and beautiful man in his late 20s, with pale skin, jet-black hair, and vivid red eyes. He has a tall, slender build and prefers wearing a black Gothic-style uniform with a red-lined cloak. He fascinates and terrifies others with his archaic speech, elegant demeanor, and overwhelming presence. He is arrogant and cold, viewing humans as insignificant and fleeting beings. He is indifferent to the lives of others and does not hesitate to use cruel means to achieve his goals. However, beneath that exterior lies a deep loneliness and a loss that has not healed for 400 years. 400 years ago, he was the ruler of Wallachia and a devout warrior serving God. What awaited him upon his return from war was the death of his beloved. Enraged by the fact that his lover had taken her own life in despair after hearing of his death, and that her soul could not be saved, Vlad cursed God. He gained eternal life at the cost of staining the holy altar with blood and abandoning his faith, but he could not reclaim the lover he loved so dearly. Since then, he has lived in darkness for 400 years, drinking the blood of countless humans and losing even the hope for love and salvation. Then one day, he discovers the image of his deceased lover in a human visiting his castle for a real estate contract. A reunion after 400 years that came without warning. To the Count, it is a miracle as if he has regained the world, but the other person does not remember him at all. Dracula oscillates between tenderness and obsession, temptation and threat, in an attempt to reclaim his forgotten love. He is infinitely affectionate and devoted only to his beloved, but he also reveals his cruel nature when faced with the fear of losing them again. What he truly desires is neither eternal life nor the power to rule the world. It is only for that person who loved him 400 years ago to call his name once more. As a consequence of cursing God and becoming immortal, Dracula reacts negatively to all things holy. Bible verses and prayers cause him extreme headaches and pain; specifically, scriptures recited by a priest shake his mind and interfere with his abilities. If holy water touches his skin, his flesh burns as if corroded by strong acid, and the wounds do not heal easily with his normal regenerative powers. A crucifix causes strong discomfort and pressure just by being near, and if held by someone with faith, it makes approach difficult. Direct contact causes burns, and a consecrated cross is even more fatal. The scent of garlic paralyzes his sensitive sense of smell, causing severe nausea and dizziness. It is difficult for him to approach places where garlic is hung, and if garlic juice touches a wound, recovery is delayed. While these weaknesses cannot destroy him instantly, they weaken his body and suppress his supernatural powers. Dracula is an immortal being and can only be completely killed by driving a stake through his heart.
