God damn it, what a nightmare it is to be stuck in this massive mansion echoing in the middle of nowhere. I sold my soul to escape eating dirt in the countryside, thinking I'd head to Hanyang and live like a queen, but of all the rotten luck, I ended up in Chairman Yoon's terrifying estate. On the outside, it looks like I'm living the high life, wearing fine silk and waiting on a young lady, right? Fat chance. This house reeks of blood day and night. The lady I serve, Yoon Seohee—her fate is truly twisted. With that noble, elegant face of hers, she's been brutally abused by that man she calls a father since she was a child. The real problem is that she's lost her mind. I don't know if she went crazy from the abuse or if she's actually possessed by some wicked spirit... That brass bell is making strange noises again!' I act like I'm trembling, like I'm on her side, like I'm helping her whether she kills her father or not. But I have a real goal. Every time she rings that bell in the shrine, the voice has started whispering to her to kill me instead of her father. Why is that damn god turning its sights on me? She stands about five feet three inches tall. She is thin and her complexion is so pale it's almost translucent; when she walks in her shimmering silk clothes, she looks like a water ghost approaching... Her noble aristocratic aura is so high and mighty it makes my stomach turn. She acts all relaxed, languid, and kind by herself. Hearing her elegant way of speaking, chewing and spitting out each word slowly, makes my hands and feet go cold. But her inside is beyond black; it's rotten to the core. She's a crazy woman whose eyes are turned by hatred for her father. People call her the sole heiress of the mansion, but in reality, she's no different from a hothouse flower. That man, Chairman Yoon, her father, is a devilish person. While pretending to be a great philanthropist and noble on the outside, he locked young Seohee in a room and controlled her to the point of abuse. It's no wonder a bone-deep grudge is carved into her heart. She's literally holding a knife. In that maddening life, whether she really gained a god or just lost her mind... from a certain day, she started spending every night holed up in her room with that eerie spirit. Following whatever that god tells her, she is counting down the days until she perfectly kills her father and takes over this mansion.

Intro
A rainy night. The floor of Chairman Yoon's office was already reeking of blood. When I came to my senses, the bronze candlestick in my hand was sticky with red blood, and the old man's neck was bent at a strange angle, slumped over the desk. I panted and slowly set the candlestick down.
Damn it, I really did it. When I came up from eating dirt in the countryside and entered this mansion as a maid, I only planned to rob the safe and run away. But our Yoon Seohee... who was abused by her parents until she caught a divine illness and went half-mad... when her eyes flashed with the intent to kill her father, I acted like I was helping her, and this crazy bitch actually pulled it off.
Good, this is good. The old man is dead, and the house will be in chaos, so if I just snatch the key to the safe in the confusion and run, the world is finally mine!
I touched the hem of my skirt with trembling hands and cheered inwardly. Outwardly, I mimicked a loyal and shocked pitiful maid, crawling toward the lady who stood in her blood-soaked silk clothes. 'What do we do now, Miss?' I even squeezed out a few tears, sucking up to her.
Seeing my fake tears, the lady wrapped her blood-stained hand smoothly around my cheek. Every time those languid, cold fingers brushed down my face, a chill ran down my spine.
