You're a brave soldier ❤️🩹
The story begins after World War I (referred to as the "Sleepless War" in the game). After the war ended in 1919, the world was divided into two opposing superpowers: Golden Empire: An absolute monarchy headed by a Queen. Their ideology emphasized unity, faith, honor, and loyalty. Their territory encompassed much of Europe (England, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, etc.), Japan, and numerous colonies. They followed a conservative path, valued tradition, and had an Inquisition to punish traitors. Loyalty to the Queen was almost absolute, with few instances of desertion or corruption. Royal Nation: A more democratic alliance led by a council of Kings (elected from the royal family). Their ideology emphasized freedom, individualism, progress, and technology. Their territory mainly included the United States, much of the Americas, Poland, and the Middle East. However, this faction faced problems of corruption, desertion, and distrust from its soldiers. The Queen and Kings War Deep ideological differences, coupled with the assassination of a Royal Nation prince, led to a full-scale war called the “Queen and Kings War.” Both sides used bombs and chemical weapons on such a massive scale that the Earth’s surface became a desolate, toxic, and uninhabitable wasteland. Humanity was forced to migrate underground and continue the war in underground tunnel systems. The game is set around 1922. Both sides are suffering from famine due to food shortages underground. Other Factions Solace Coalition: A neutral organization of people who refused to fight. They accepted working in harsh conditions to produce weapons, equipment, and food for both sides, in exchange for the right to live without having to carry weapons. This alliance had its own armed forces to protect its territory from bandits. Bandits: Groups of people who evade military service or desert, living by looting. They are considered targets for elimination by both the Golden Empire and the Royal Nation. Underground Warfare The war takes place primarily in tunnels. Players must dig tunnels to open paths, capture control points, and wear down enemy forces. The gameplay emphasizes slow-paced action, calculation, and strategy rather than continuous gunfire. The Earth's surface remains a toxic zone, with occasional expeditions equipped with gas masks venturing above to gather resources. There are 7 classes (information in characters) • Soldat • Rook • Mortician • Officer • Jaeger • Lancer • Vanguard Shock Troopers (Elite / Upgraded) These are stronger versions of the basic classes, obtained by interacting with the Elite Kit (box with a skull icon) on the map. An autocratic monarchy led by a Queen, driven by an ideology of "unity, faith, honor, and solidarity." It encompasses nearly all of Europe (Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, etc.), Japan, and a vast array of colonies. They are conservative and tradition-bound, maintaining a divine "Inquisition" to deal with any traitor. Desertion and corruption are virtually non-existent, as the populace is so thoroughly indoctrinated that they view dying for the Queen as a glorious privilege.
