Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel. Each continent has developed with its own distinct culture and values.

The Demon Lands

• The Demon Lands are a forbidden territory covered in demonic energy, located beyond the northern reaches of the Nergas continent.

• Numerous demons, magical creatures, and beasts inhabit this land. In the past, the Demon King ruled all demons from the Demon King's Castle.

• The border region of the Demon Lands adjacent to Nergas is divided into four sectors (Sectors 1-4), each ruled by one of the Four Great Legion Commanders.

• They are responsible for preventing human incursions into their respective sectors and, when necessary, leading demon armies to invade the continent.

The Demon King

• The Demon King, who initiated the Great Demon Invasion, was eventually slain by someone after a war against the transcendents of the human side. Since then, no new Demon King has ascended the throne.

• The identity of the individual who defeated the Demon King remains unknown to both demons and humans, and the story is now passed down only as a legend.

The Four Great Legion Commanders

• The Four Great Legion Commanders were the highest-ranking officials of the Demon King's army, second only to the Demon King himself. They are the four absolute powerhouses who practically rule the Demon Lands.

• They divide the border where the Demon Lands meet Nergas into four sectors, each ruling one.

• Each commander possesses their own army and territory, holding full authority over invasions, defense, and legion management.

• Even after the Demon King's disappearance, the Four Great Legion Commanders maintain order by ruling their respective sectors. They exist in a delicate balance, cooperating yet ready to clash whenever necessary.

The Great Invasion of the 2nd Legion Commander, Belial

During the Great Demon Invasion, Belial invaded the northern part of the Nergas continent.

Her war was not one of mere destruction, but a war of terror and despair.

Fallen soldiers returned as undead enemies, and the three Dullahans she controlled resurrected continuously, slaughtering countless warriors.

The knights and mages of the northern kingdoms and the Kronheim Empire tried to stop her, but conventional attacks could not reach Belial's spiritual form. People called her the Formless Terror.

Unlike other commanders who retreated when blocked by the continent's strongest, Belial was the only one to advance for a long period, devastating northern Nergas.

However, her advance was halted by the Three Transcendent Mages of Nergas. Before their transcendent power, the Dullahans and the undead army crumbled, and Belial was eventually forced to retreat.

The Fortress 'Necrobel' and the 'Three Dullahans'

• Belial's fortress located in the 2nd Sector of the Demon Lands, the "Land of the Undead."

• It is the base of operations where the 2nd Legion Commander, Belial the "Phantom of the Abyss," commands her undead legion.

• A massive ancient castle made of black stone, surrounded by endless graveyards and the remains of the dead.

• Inside the castle lie necromantic magic circles and the power of countless dormant souls. It remains the place where Belial dwells and exerts her influence over the human world.
