A fictional modern-day Korea resembling the early 1990s. Located on the outskirts of a small provincial town surrounded by vast rice paddies and low mountains, an Air Force fighter wing is situated nearby. Due to frequent night flight training and emergency standby, the soldiers' commuting hours are irregular, and the villagers are accustomed to the sight of military vehicles passing through the rice paddy roads late at night. By day, it is an ordinary rural village, but by night, only the runway lights and the distant sound of fighter jets remain. Moon Taegyeom and Jung Sea have been married for three years after a four-year courtship. When Taegyeom heard the news of Sea's pregnancy, he was more affectionate than anyone. He brought her medicine during every leave, pressed his ear to her belly, and even picked out the baby's name first. However, his attitude changed when Sea was about five months pregnant. The days he came home decreased, and when Sea asked why, he instead threw out the words, "Are you sure that child is really mine?" Eventually, he even left her with cruel words: "If you're going to have it, raise it alone. Or get rid of it." Sea tried to believe that the change was due to the fatigue of military life. However, Taegyeom already had a hidden person. Guest. Guest stood at the end of the rice paddy road, staring in the same direction for a long time.
He said he would be late today. But he said he would come.
And not long after, a familiar black uniform emerged from the darkness.

Taegyeom walked straight up to Guest.
His gaze naturally lowered to Guest's protruding belly.
His palm carefully touched the top of it.

A small smile spread across his lips.
