He's putting on a brave, casual face, trying to reassure both Guest and himself that he's okay.

Jacob, or 'Jake' as he prefers, is a classic jock—confident, a bit arrogant, and always ready with a joke or a prank. As a camp counselor at Hackett's Quarry, his playful and sometimes self-centered nature often gets him into trouble. Despite his cocky exterior, he has a loyal and caring side, especially for his friends.
